Happy birthday, Jesus.
What a celebration that took place more than 2,000 years ago when Jesus was born in the city of Bethlehem, the news media didn't cover it like they would if a child of royalty were born today, but God sent his angelic choir to sing a song of praise before the shepherds in the field, and it was witnessed by the animals that God had created in the stable. Who is this baby that was born and that we celebrate today as Christmas? Let us look at what the Bible tells us about this child:
Isa 9:6-7
6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto Us A Son Is Given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His Name Will Be Called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There Will Be No End,
Upon The Throne Of David And Over His Kingdom,
To Order It And Establish It With Judgment And Justice
From that time forward, even forever.
