Diana Taurasi Test Positive For "Mild Stimulant"

The Associated Press in New York is reporting that former UConn star Diana Taurasi has tested positive for a mild stimulant while playing overseas in Turkey.
Howard Jacobs, Taurasi's lawyer told the wire service Thursday that Taurasi's A sample came back positive from a Turkish lab and she was provisionally suspended by the Turkish league she's playing in. Taurasi has requested that her B sample be tested.
Jacobs told the AP the substance "was not a steroid or recreational drug."
Taurasi served one day in jail and was suspended by the WNBA for two games in 2009 after pleading guilty to a DUI charge. She has missed the last three games with Fenerbahce, her team in Turkey
