You know how most of us thought the Gorillaz were releasing a free album this Christmas called The Fall? Well, apparently a lot of us got it wrong as it's actually only free if you're a Sub-Division subscriber, whatever that is. For the rest of us, we're going to have to give up our e-mail address and other relevant information just to take a listen. But hey, it will be available in its physical form at some point next year. And being able to listen to anything new and technically free from the Gorillaz, even a stream, is pretty damn sweet. Also, there's some pretty sick art to check out and information about where each track was recorded while the band was on the road. Happy holidays.
The Gorillaz just released the full album stream of "The Fall" on their website. Gorillaz 'The Fall' All the tracks were written and performed by Gorillaz using the iPad and additional instruments: Korg Vocoder, Ukelele, Microkorg, Omnichord, Moog Voyager, Melodica, Guitar, Piano, Korg Monotron. Except track 13 written and performed by Gorillaz and Bobby Womack. Recorded between Montreal and Vancouver over 32 days on the Gorillaz North American Tour 2010.
